Spell BoundStepping quietly through the forest,
sunlight playing among the trees, a gentle
breeze dancing upon the leaves, I
enter a clearing, abruptly stop.I saw her, watched her, just standing
there, her eyes closed, swaying to the music
that plays in silence, spell bound
as I watched, unable to speak her name.Slowly her eyes did open, she began to look around
sensing that she wasn't alone, she knew that she
was found, unafraid to discover, who had broken
the solitude that had been so profound. As she suddenly did see me, she watched
as I stood, in silence, casting her gaze upon
me, then the thoughts that we both
heard, from somewhere among the silence. As if we each knew what the other had found
together, moving as one towards one another,
stepping through the clearing, until we
stood as close as we could, yet still alone.I heard her, though she hadn't spoken, as
I took her hand gently into my own, my
fingers moving, began exploring, the
hand, I felt I had already known.Moving across her hand, then slowly sliding
along her arm, until I reached her shoulder, touching
her neck softly with a light feathery
caress, feeling the quickness of her heart. Her hand, reached out gently, drawing
me closer, finding no resistance, the feel
of her breath against my neck, of her
lips, as they touched my own.A gentleness, yet so urgent, was
her touch as we slowly began to kiss, her
lips, felt like velvet, her kisses were
of satin, with each tenative caress. My hands moving slowly along her body
up and down her back, feeling her
sigh heavily against my shoulder, as
they moved softly along her neck. Her shirt falling soundless, to rest about our
feet, as my kisses wandered hesitantly
whispering wordlessly across her chest, I drew
her body closer, her arms about my neck.A chill passing between us, into a heat
neither could explain, as desire
built up inside us, having never
even spoken her name.I drew her down into a carpet of leaves, that
laid out beneath our feet, a gift to us from
the woods, a bed from heaven, as a
breeze sang delicately through the trees.Lost in the comfort of our embrace, bodies slowly
entwined with one another, until neither knew the
beginning, nor sought to find an end, having finally
discovered one another, together ... without end.
